There's no other way to put this so i'll be blunt , August was crap !

I played three events in one week at the beginning , all around £5000 entry and didn't place once , then i went to Luton , made one final in Omaha and finally to LA where apart from finishing 4th in their media event which doesn't really count , the best i could do was 37th of 258 in the $1500 No Limit , in the $1000 i had Aces cracked and in the main event lost a coin flip for 10,000 chips even after flopping a set .

I did win a super for $5000 so it wasn't a total disaster but my confidence which was high after the WSOP has taken a battering .

I am currently having to revise my schedule with my sponsors UK Betting as when i originally proposed it the EPT hadn't been confirmed and now it has , there is an extra event in Baden but more importantly the entry costs have doubled from the figures i proposed !

If all gets agreed i will be concentrating on the EPT events for the next two months in Barcelona , London , Baden and Dublin . These will be followed by Amsterdam , Paris and St Kitts in November with Helsinki in December .

I did well in Barcelona in May cashing three times out of six events , hopefully i can get things moving again there .

It is about time i made one of these televised finals , i have had enough chances , i am not achieving the goals i set myself at the beginning of the year and it's not good enough .
