I have recieved confirmation from UK Bettings CEO Eric Semel that after 21 months the company has been delighted with the way i performed my role as ambassador for them promoting the company in 12 different countries at approx 40 events but they feel no more can be achieved in this way so my sponsorship has ended.

However, while sponsored i wrote approx 160 diaries which have a huge readership on Sportinglife which is also owned by UK Betting and i have been asked to continue writing for them , this i intend to do, however while i offered not to syndicate the diaries elsewhere during my time with them i now can, and so i will be looking for several outlets in the next couple of weeks , i already have two sites who wish to reproduce it.

Thanks to Eric who approached me in November 2003 before signing me in March 2004 i have had a wonderful time representing UK Betting and i hope that the media coverage i achieved and the main results , No 1 in Europe in Omaha in 2004 , No 4 in 2005 as well as 1st and second in the Omaha at the Master Classics to go with my 5th in the $10,000 Omaha at last years WSOP helped attract new players to their site.

I am now of course searching for a new sponsor and will let you all know if i am successful , as you probably are aware The Hendon Mobs deal with Prima Poker has also come to an end but there are still sites interested, eg Mickey Wernick has been signed by Blue Square for EPT and WSOP events this year as have Julian Gardener and David Pomroy by Virgin Poker , i am sure all three will do a great job and i wish them best of luck.

I already have one company that has asked me to call them next week and any developments will appear in my blog.

I have been asked to become involved in hosting corporate events , something i have done before with The hendon Mob and Dave Colclough and also for UK Betting , i am looking forward to doing some this year.

I will be playing in Brighton this weekend and will then get the diaries up to date.
