There has been a delay in delivery of our 45 tables as the supplier of the cloth for the rails shut down in August. The first 10 will be here in 2 weeks. I have a meeting to organise the TV table next week. 644 decks of cards are en route from Spain and Italy as well as 4 sets of tournament chips and £500,000 worth of cash chips from France.

The interviews for hospitality staff start 6th September and the dealer interviews on the 17th.

We submitted our evidence for the licensing hearing last month and will receive our objectors eveidence 10th September. On 27th September after 4 days in court we will know whether our license application has been successful.

I am booked to appear on the Sky Poker Open 1st October and hope to have good news!

I was in Cardiff last week doing commentary with "king of the jungle" Phil Tufnel for the Gala Great British Poker Tour, we did 10 shows and the action will make really good TV. Phil was great to work with and i hope we will do more in the future.

I am in Nice for 4 days until 10th visiting Mathildes mum, (memo to self, must learn to speak French)

Next week i will be focusing on ordering the ancilliary items, dealer buttons, cutting cards, playover boxes, cash game markers etc, looking at chairs and side tables, checking the functions of our Tournament Clock software then 17th to 23rd its dealer/Supervisor interviews.

No chance of playing either the WSOP-E or the EPT at the Vic so doubt if i will play live this month.

In October their is a new series of Late Night Poker based on the same format as the old , 49 players , 7 heats , a semi final and a final , i have been invited as a previous champion and of course have accepted .

Lets hope my October Latest News has a good headline !!
