In the first level i had AA twice and AK but broke even , again we started with 500 in chips and small blinds , second level was 5 10 and i had to watch as i missed a straight flush ! There had been a raise to 30 that i called with 89 of clubs , but then after one more caller there was an all in for 235 , the first raiser called and i passed , both had AK , flop was K 4 then the 7 5 and 6 of clubs .

I won a nice pot just before the end when i raised on the button with J9 of hearts and the BB called , flop was 3 4 4 with two hearts , he check called my all in , he had 56 of hearts for the straight flush draw but after two blanks i won with J high and was up to 795.

Third level was as it should be lol , i called with Q9s and flopped the second nut straight and a flush draw , i reraised with AK uncalled and finally made a backdoor flush with K9s , now up to 1010.

Then it all went wrong , i raised to 80 with QQ and called a BB reraise of 150 , flop was J high and after he bet out i moved in , remember this is short handed so to be up against KK was unlucky , i went back down to 300.

In the 5th level i called a raise with 89s hoping to hit a flop , this came 4 6 9 rainbow , looked good and i moved in , my opponent had QQ and when i didn't improve i was out .

I played a little cash and waited to see if anyone could beat me for Best Overall , with 12 left one player who had 9 points needed to win to beat me , he finished 9th and that was that , to my surprise i got another Spitfire to go with the one from earlier in the week .

Next week i'm off to St Kitts , if nothing else i should come back with a tan !
