I raised her BB with QQ and she called , flop was 2 5 6 , she checked , i bet 500 and won , then in the SB after two limpers i called with T2 , flop was J T T , i check called on the flop , checked the turn and bet the river and won , so far everything was going to plan.

I then got QQ again on Jennifers BB and raised to 175 , she called , flop was A T 4 and she led out , i guessed this may be a way of finding out if i had raised with an A and if not i would have to pass , but decided i did't want to reraise to be faced with an all in , or flat call and she would bet out on the turn as i didn't have a read on her yet so i passed .

My next playable hand was A7s one off the button , i made a standard raise , the BB called and bet out on a K Q 9 all diamonds , i had hearts and was done with the hand.

Next i won my biggest pot so far with a bluff , my BB was raised to 175 , i called wityh JQs , flop was K T 2 , i checked , he bet 250 , i reraised to 500 , he thought and called , i had him on a T or an under pair , turn was a 4 we both checked , river a 6 and now i bet 1050 into 1400 and he passed .

Last hand of level one was TT , raised to 175 , no calls , ended the level with 4550.

Level 2 , hands were drying up , i decided to make a FR raise to 300 with TJs to gauge my table image , all 5 players called ! Flop was J 5 K , blinds checked to me and i fired out 600 , a bit weak i know but if i bet the pot here i am pot committed to a reraise , the chip leader with 8000 called , turn was a 9 and he bet 1150 , i passed.

One round later in FP i got TT , this time i flat called 100 , the next player raised to 450 and Jennifer called , back to me i reraised all in for 2400 , they both passed , two hands later in the SB i pick up AK , all pass to the button who has 2725 to my 3475 , as has been the norm he raises to 300 , i reraise to 1300 , the BB passes and the button goes all in , pot is 4125 and 1425 to me to call , virtually 3-1 for what is hopefully no worse than QQ , i call , he has QQ , just need to hit an A or a K , happens all the time right ? Not this time , and i am down to 750 .

Two rounds later i am down to 500 , fortunately for me one of the bigger stacks has lost most of his chips on a 6 high flop with 99 v TT , he has 850 left so when he takes the BB and FP passes , i decided any A or picture and i am all in , i find A4 , good enough , i go all in , hoping all will pass and he will pick up 83o and also pass , then i will make the same move from FP on the next hand , all did not got to plan !

The chip leader next to me flat called so did Jennifer Tilly in the SB , BB passed , flop was 6 7 T , Jennifer bet out and i guessed i needed an A to improve , the chip leader passed , Jennifer turned over AQ , ok i needed a 4 , same amount of outs , turn was a Q and i was drawing dead .

This was a very disappointing result especially as i had been so disciplined in my preperation , it all came down to a coinflip , there was no way i could call preflop out of position giving the BB odds to call so i would play the hand exactly the same way next time and hope to be up against a worse A or QQ or lower.

Tomorrow for the first time i will start playing Super Satellites to try and win $10,000 as i am already paid into the main event , i doubt if i will play the $5000 Pot Limit Hold-em on Saturday unless i can win my way in , my son Ben arrives on Tuesday and i am taking 5 days off to spend time with him and be in perfect shape for my day one of the Championship event which is Sunday 30th .
