We started with 1000 in chips and blinds 25 25 , i must admit due to the structure i decided to play fast early on and it worked in my favour .

The first hand i called a raise with A5o and made a straight on a board of J 2 4 3 , then i called another raise with 45o , the flop was A 3 9 with two clubs , when the raiser put a weak bet out i called for the gutshot 2 or a club to bluff , turn was an 8 and he bet small again , river the Q of clubs , now he hesitated and checked , i threw in 300 with 5 high and he passed .

Now clear chip leader i took on the same player with T4s , again an A flopped but this time i had the flush draw , i bet , he just called , turn we both checked , river i made the flush and moved in he called with AQ , i was up to 2000 .

When the FP over raised to 300 , blinds still 25 25 , i called with 68o assuming he had AK and i would bluff him on the flop , i didn't need to , it came 6 8 2 , i check called his all in and beat his JJ , i then called a small raise with T5s and again flopped 2 pair to crack KK , by the end of the rebuys i was flying with 2575.

Then i got it right but lost and overplayed a hand , first i called a standard raise with 22 in position of a suspected big A , flop was K 4 4 , he moved in , i said i was winning pre flop and showed 22 he showed AK , the very next hand he raised again , this time i had JJ , we were the two chip leaders , i could have reraised to 800 but he had a total of 1800 so i would probably call his all in reraise , anyway i just moved in and after the others passed he called , this time he had AA , if i had just called the flop was T high so it would have gone in anyway .

I found AK back to back , first time i beat a short stack with QQ , the second i split the pot , by the 50 75 level i had 925 and our table broke , i blinded away to 475 when they announced a break while the finalists were assembled for the Lido , half the table got up and i moved in from FP with 9Ts , unfortunately the button didn't get up and was rewarded with KK .

So not a bad trip 4 events , 3 No Limit without a sniff of the money and the Pot Limit Omaha i won last year but this year a not to shabby second , next week it's Paris for the " Hold-em Series" smaller fields at a venue where i have a good record , it's the only place i have won a tournament this year , good practice ready for St Kitts !
