Again i couldn't sleep , we finished at 3,30am and i had breakfast at 6,30am finally getting to sleep at 8am and waking at 1.30 ready for the 2pm restart .

Even though i was short stacked i was feeling focused and confident , i had one play set up which almost worked . The shortest stack was on my right , i was certain he would move in from FP with any two cards as blinds were 1200 2400 and he only had 11,200 , when he did this i intended to reraised for heads up with any reasonable hand .

It was the second hand of the day and as expected the short stack moved in , i found A9o , good enough and reraised 26,000 all in , everyone passed , the all in sheepishly turned up his 78o and i had this feeling i was about to get a repeat of yesterday when i had the AK v 67 , flop was Q 7 Q J K and my confidence drained .

Blinds passed through me and i moved in one off the button through the chip leader on my left knowing this would make my J9s look stronger , both blinds passed and i survived , the next two rounds every hand was raised 6000 or more preflop before i could act and the only time i had an A i would have won , i had intended to move in on the button but the FP raised and my A4o didn't look so good , i would have been called as the BB moved in , both players had AQ , flop was J 2 5 3 and inside i was not happy !

That proved to be the best hand i would see , i got J4 94 T4 72 etc and the one time the blinds weren't raised i was BB and the SB who had earlier doubled up with his 78o moved in , give me anything and i'll call i thought but found J3o , i showed the 3 and he showed his 99 !

Clearly it wasn't my day , i had one round left till in FP with 3900 and blinds 1200 2400 i picked up suited connectors , i went all in , all passed to the SB who knowing the BB was weak decided to play me heads up rather than flat call and have two against one , he raised to 8000 , the BB showed an A and passed , now i hoped the SB also had an A as my 23s would be even more live , he actually had T8o and i didn't even get a glimmer of hope as the flop came T 8 7 T , timing is everything .

So that's it another year finished , next year i hope to continue my exceptional form in Omaha and i am determined to make a major No Limit final and get that so far elusive big win , i have now written 160 diaries , thanks to all those that have written saying they enjoy them , i hope you all learnt something and maybe next year i'll meet you at one of the tournaments , until then have a great xmas , bye for now.
