After taking Sunday off i decided to play the $1500 PLO , this started as a freezeout , got changed to a rebuy , then got changed back to a freezeout with an extra event a $1500 PLO with rebuys scheduled for 4pm .

In the freezeout i went out in the third level , with only 1500 in chips you can't wait for premium hands , i raised to 350 , i was reraised to 1100 , i had AK QT and decided to gamble , all in for 1200 , he had AA 63 , flop was K 9 4 , had i just called preflop i would have been all in as i could hit a K for trips , a J for the nut straight , or a Q or a T for two pair , turn and river came 7 7 and i was out .

It was 2.45 , i went back to the hotel and decided to play the rebuy off $4500 , this allowed me $1500 for a rebuy if needed but preferably i would play through the first two hours and take the double add on .

I was way out , this event if any of you ever intend to play it requires a minimum of $6000 , correct strategy is to rebuy immediately then take the double add on , one table had $84,000 in rebuys and add ons .

After showering , changing and refocusing i arrived at 4.30 , bought in and took my seat , in seat one was Rafit Amit who won last years $10,000 PLO and came 4th in this years , he already had 7000 chips , on mu left was Mike Caro and with 3000 which was the least .

I decided to play my first hand then rebuy if neccesary leaving one add on , in the BB i called a raise to 75 with KT 56ds , flop was A J 5 , giving me bottom pair and a royal flush draw , i decided to check raise and had to call for my last few chips to his reraise , he had AA x x , turn was the 5 of diamonds for my nut flush , i still had two outs faced by a full house of Aces , how rare is that ? But the case 5 or Q of diamonds didn't come and i had to rebuy .

If i had taken an immediate rebuy when i sat down , i would have check called the flop and been all in on the turn so i felt i saved 1500 .

I sat throug level 2 and only played two hands , JJ QK and AQ 9T , both times i missed the flop and when down to 900 i took another rebuy just in case i found a hand before the add on , i didnt and decided to take just one add on as everyone else accept one player took the double and even with two i would be at a big disadvantage , blinds were going to be only 50 100 so with 2800 i just needed a double up to be in contention.

I called with AK QJss , flop was 7 6 2 , then QQ JTds , flop was A 3 5 and i was beginning to think it wasn't my day !

Finally i limped with KJ Q8ds for 100 , one other player called and the button raised to 500 , the big blind called and as the other limper already had their 500 ready i knew i could call for 400 into a 1650 pot so i called making the pot 2050 , flop was Q 8 4 rainbow giving me top two pair , BB checked and i moved in for my last 1725 , the first player passed as did the original raiser , the BB asked how much to call and then did making the pot 5500 , win this and i would be in great shape , i showed my hand and he turned over KK Q4 , he had one K or two 4's to hit, turn was a 9 giving him a total of 6 outs making me an 85% favourite , river was a 4 , i managed to say nice hand instead of throwing up , how he could think Q4 was in front when i have called a preflop raise for a quarter of my stack and now committed all of them acting before the preflop raiser i dont know , i am supposed to have at least top two if not a set , oh well that's the frustration of tournament poker i guess .

This time i took two days off to be in perfect shape for the $5000 Short Handed No Limit , unlike the $2500 where i lasted to level 7 with very few hands today i had many hands but they cost me , i thnk i play better with no cards and just position and feel .

All the best
