In level 7 just through the occasional steal i increased slightly to 120,500 , then again in level 8 i played only one hand QQ 67ds , flop was 9 9 6 and when Huck Seed bet pot , i passed , Pascal Perrault called so we saw the turn which of course was a Q ! Both checked until Pascal bet the river , Huck showed the 96 he had flopped with and passed ! For the first time in the tournament i dropped but only 1000 to 119,500 .

Level 9 and blinds were now 400 800 , i built back up to 125,000 then got caught playing a bad hand on the button for value due to 4 limpers , i had K7s 22 , flop was T 6 2 rainbow and i thought my value call was about to win me a big pot , all checked to me and i bet 2500 , Pascal raised to 10,000 , all passed and hoping he had either top two pairs or 7 8 9 T i reraised him all in for his last 3000 , he had TT . I got some of it back in a reraise preflop with a nice hand AK TJds which went uncalled then tangled with Pascal again , the flop came Q T 7 , i had KQ J6ds and called his bet , the turn gave me two pair when a 6 came and for the second time i put him all in , he called with top two pair and they held up , i finished with 87,400.

Again in level 10 i was getting no hands so when i saw K5 67ds i thought i would attack Barnys BB as he was shortstacked , i raised to 4200 and Pascal called in the SB , Barny reraised all in for 7250 more , i called as did Pascal . Flop was K 8 2 with two hearts matching my K flush draw , i checked and Pascal went all in , i called for a 26,000 side pot , Pascal had the nut flush draw and a pair of 8's , Barny had AJ Jx and needed runner runnner straight or the J that wasn't a heart , turn and river were two blanks and my pair of Kings stood up , i was back up to 117,400.

The organisers decided to add a level as otherwise we were to jump from 600 1200 to 1000 2000 so level 11 was 800 1600 , again no hands but i bluffed a 16,000 pot on the river and maintained my position .

We were now down to 27 players and i got moved to a new table with Eric Seidel and Paul Maxflield , of these 27 , 11 were British ! I only played one hand against Eric , twice when i raised his BB he reraised so when i found AA i flat called on the button , flop was 9 9 7 , i had the nut flush draw as well as two pair , Eric bet 3000 , i called , turn and river he checked and called 6000 a time from me , on the river i showed the AA and he passed , i assume he had JJ or QQ .

Level 13 was 1500 3000 and even with 117,000 starting the level play was fast and again i had no hands so when we got to 19 , one off the money i was relieved that we finally lost the player on the bubble , sadly it was Paul Maxfield , the pot had been raised by a young aggressive player to 10,500 and Paul reraised to 36,000 and was called , flop was J 8 5 checked to Paul , he moved in for his last 12,000 and was quickly called , Paul had as expected AA but his opponent had risked his tournament calling preflop with QJ 85ds and flopped three pairs making it less likely for Paul to win , he didn't and we were finished for the night , i had survived the day but was now in 7th place with 91,000 , tomorrow we play for the prize money ranging from $15,510 for 18th to $511,835 for 1st , i hope i can get a change of fortune and win my first ever bracelet in the biggest Pot Limit Omaha event ever held !
