The WSOP was great but since then i have like many other players been having a tough time , four major events have come and gone , i had a shot at the Vic but couldn't pass my AK on a K high flop and walked into a set , Luton was a disaster , in three hold-em events my last hand was winning before the flop , i flopped top pair and in each case got rivered to be knocked out , i scraped a final in the Omaha .

I have to remotivate and refocus , i know my game has been a little below par and some mistakes have crept in which need to be ironed out , i fly to LA on Tuesday 16th but will not play til Friday in the $1500 No Limit , i then have the weekend off before the $1000 No Limit on Monday with the WPT starting on the 28th , i have been following the results on Poker Pages and the fields have been very big , my goal is to make the money at least once and ideally a final .

For some reason my Omaha game seems to have taken over from my No Limit as far as results go and although i am pleased to have improved i still enjoy No Limit more and it's about time i proved to myself if noone else that i have the ability to play at the highest level .

I will try to keep the blog updated , it really is a case that if things are going well you can't write enough but when there not , you just don't feel like it .

Thanks to those of you who sent e-mails of support over the bullshit in Paris , i promise not to check raise Barry Greenstein with the nuts if we are on the same table , i couldn't be bothered to put up with any more sour grapes , ok maybe i would but i'll take less than 2 minutes to do it !
